Well, everything looked good ... the baby has a heartbeat at a "perfect" rate (according to the doctor) for the gestation period, and is measuring right on schedule! It was so exciting to see the heartbeat. The only downside is that apparently my uterus is shaped in such a way that it's hard to get a really clear picture, so while the doctor assured us that everything looked perfect, it was a little hard for us to see (I could just barely see the heartbeat, but I could see it!). I didn't even know I had a weird uterus ...
So he's having me come back in two weeks just so he can hopefully get a clearer picture of everything. After that, it's off to an OB ... and apparently I am not really considered high-risk in spite of all we went through (though I will probably choose an OB with infertility experience as well)!
So everything looked good. So why I am I still anxious? Hmmmm ...
