Four people from my running group showed up last night (that's actually a good number - sometimes we only have two), but our damn coach wasn't there AGAIN. So we ran with the novices again (they do the same mileage but take more frequent walk breaks). Sigh ( Read more... )

What is that twice your coach hasn't shown up? Not cool.

Yep, twice. Supposedly each group has two coaches, and they mentioned the name of our other coach on the first day, but I've never even seen him/her (can't remember the name). It really annoys me that I paid money and leave work early each Thursday (which means working late some other day), only to not even be able to do the scheduled run. And I hate being in a bad mood because of it. Then I go home and feel guilty because Riley hasn't gotten to do anything. I think next week I might skip the group and see how he handles 3.5 miles.
