[Fic] Train Stations

Summary: They say train stations are where people meet after a long separation.
He paced up and down the crowded platform, expensive shoes clicking against the shiny polished marble of the station floor. Head tilted back and eyes shielded by designer shades, his feet somehow managed to step out of the way of others in his path without his brain even comprehending what he was doing. His hands clutched a large bouquet of white blooms behind his back, the tension that was coursing through his body causing him to hold onto the cellophane-and-fabric wrapping with more force than necessary.
An announcement came on and he jerked his head, suddenly alert to his surroundings, the voice cutting through the cluttered thoughts in his head. The saccharine voice of the station staff was a cruel contrast to the news she delivered, Yunho thought bitterly. Jaejoong’s train was running a little late. Well, shit.
Yunho sank into one of the benches that lined the platform, his legs finally making their soreness from all that walking known. He let out a defeated sigh as he gently laid his bouquet beside him on the bench, bones melting into the cool stone. Calm down, heart, calm down. He had already waited too long for Jaejoong to come back to him; what was another few minutes more?
Sitting alone at Faith Station, Yunho’s mind seemed to have taken a life of its own, a thousand million thoughts crashing about his head like a freight train on the loose. His hands met between his thighs, clutching each other for support against the onslaught of suppressed emotions and thoughts that were threatening to spill over.
Instinctively his right hand toyed with the gold-and-diamond ring that adorned its left twin, fingers twisting it around his ring finger in attempt to calm his nerves. It was a habit he never really managed to kick despite not having worn the metal for a long time, letting it reside in his wallet or on a chain around his neck as a security blanket instead.
Would Jaejoong be smiling when he arrived? Would he be happy? Had he been happy in the past years living away from Yunho? Had he eaten well? Had he been tired? Had he lost weight, or gained some? Had he been sleeping well?
Another announcement played on the intercom and Yunho literally jumped to his feet. Train Bonds was arriving. A strong gust of wind assaulted him as a train rushed past, tousling his styled hair with abandon before it began to lose speed as it pulled into the station. Yunho swallowed hard and his trembling hand picked up his bouquet from the bench. Heart thumping wildly in his chest, his legs found the strength his mind did not have to make his way closer to the edge of the platform where a large 5 was marked on the floor. He had waited too long for this.
Would Jaejoong like the flowers? Would he be happy to see him? Would his expression be one of joy, or of ire? Would he be wearing his ring? Would he be holding Yoochun’s hand? Did Jaejoong miss him as much as Yunho missed his other half? Did Jaejoong know of the void he left in Yunho’s heart since the day he left his world? Had Jaejoongie changed? Was he going to be finally reunited with the man he loved so much or had he been waiting in vain for someone who only existed in his memory?
Yunho’s mind went blank and his throat ran dry as carriage 5 came to a stop right in front of him. The door slid open and Yunho’s heart reacted before his mind could determine if he was meeting a stranger or an old friend. He stepped forward and threw his arms around the stunned man, tears flowing uncontrollably behind his shades.
“Hello, Jaejoongie.”

A/N: I've got 2 exams this week and what do I do? Write a drabble. =.= I really don't have time for this, but I really needed to get my mind off all the shit RL throws at me. I haven't been writing for 3 months, damnit.

Lol I actually had a dream that Jaejoong tweeted something about supporting the album and Homin thanking him for the tweet and Yoosu for their support and love when they won at the music shows lol. I AM DELUSIONAL. XD
On the same note, my Queen BoA did tweet about supporting Homin!!! YAAAAAAY NOONA! <3 BoAshinki is so much love!!!
And damn I really want to hear Changkyu sing Just the Way You Are live. (T.T) But I siriusly can't afford the ticket. I really want to cry, I kid you not. My beloved evil magnaes!!! And who knew Kyu had such wonderful English!
