It was a great book. I think I have a very worn, coverless, book from school packed in a box somewhere. They were getting new books so we got to keep ours, if we wanted.

Intensity was great. The movie & book. Creepy and gave me chills.

I found it hard to narrow it down to just 15 once I got going.

Great list!

Me too! I could have a list of 15 of just Stephen King books, but I shared the author love.

I've only read Animal Farm and The Scarlett Letter from this list (for school). I like Dean Koontz, though; I've read Fear Nothing and a couple others...I might have to order a few of these. Mmmm...

Animal Farm was for school, but I think I read Grapes of Wrath (I didn't include that one - too many to choose) and Scarlet Letter on my own.

I know. I'm reading over everyone's lists and making notes of books I want to get.

Interesting list!
Animal Farm was an amazing book. I had to read that in high school.
I'd have to say that The Diary of Anne Frank and To Kill A Mockingbird will always stick with me. :)

It has a little bit of everything in it.

Oooh, I forgot about To Kill A Mockingbird. I liked that book, too. Listing only 15 was hard. :p

1. The Outsiders -- S.E. Hinton
2. Redneck Boy in the Promised Land, The Confessions of Crazy Cooter -- Ben Jones (Cooter was not a role. He was getting paid just to be who he already was. He's been Cooter his whole life.)
3. Romeo & Juliet
4. The Mick -- Mickey Mantle
5. On Basilisk Station -- David Weber, the first of the Honor Harrington series
6. Eighth Moon -- Sansan w. Bette Bao Lord
7. In The Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson -- Bette Bao Lord
8. Zoya -- Danielle Steel
9. Anything by Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb

We had a librarian in high school we all called 'Misery' behind her back, as she strongly resembled Kathy Bates. She wasn't the most sociable and charming person, either.

Music of the Moment: Gunpowder & Lead by Miranda Lambert

OH yes, Romeo and Juliet was memorable and I'm pretty sure I read Zoya but I can't remember.

Misery - I saw it in the movie theater and a couple times nearly jumped out of my seat. Good movie/excellent read.
