In a city like Tuscaloosa, finding exactly what you are looking for is hard to do.Whether its finding a partner or anything dealing with romance. But when you do find it you know. There are many different scenes here however. You just have to know where to find them. Several of my friends have been telling me lately how hard of a time they are

i feel like the bar scene only works out if it is the right kind of a bar and you are that bars crowd. mainly young professionals and such. maybe it is just me, but i would never go into a bar looking for something serious. just listen to the great poet Axle Rose:

Said woman take it slow
It'll work itself out fine
All we need is just a little patience

I totally agree. You should never go into a bar looking for something serious. But some people don't understand that.
