I'm no Larry Lessig or even Randall Munroe, but here's my 2008 U.S. presidential endorsement, for those who care. It's the last you'll hear about it unless you ask.
I support Barack Obama for President. I don't agree with everything in his platform, and I think several other candidates are also good choices, but Obama is best because:

Uh, wasn't it Obama's campaign that had an "ex-gay" speaker at one of their campaign events at a Southern Baptist church? Also, neither Obama nor Clinton support gay marriage. One of the many reasons I voted for Kucinich is because he was the only candidate to support real gay marriage, and not this "separate but equal" nonsense the others are suggesting.

Also, I find it...annoying? when Obama claims he would've voted against the Iraq war. Hindsight is 20/20, and without him being in the position of having to cast an (at the time) very unpopular vote I feel like we can't really be sure of how he would've voted.

Well, he was speaking out against the war before it started, during his U.S. Senate campaign. So it's not just hindsight. But I agree, he wasn't forced to make the same hard choice as a sitting senator ( ... )
