I caught the meme virus from latenightparty . Here's the gist:

Photography: I like photography, but mostly architectural and designy type stuff as opposed to actual photojournalism, which I should really be focusing on for school. For some reason, I'd much rather sit down and drill someone with questions than order him or her around to take pictures. I'm getting a camera for Christmas and I hope to keep up with it as a hobby, though about half of media jobs will require me to know a little about photography.
School: Like any school, I think NMSU is as good as what you put into it. I have some great professors. Right now I'm not doing much more than I need to to pass (actually I haven't passed everything,) and I think I'm all the poorer because of it. I do want to change, but actually succeeding is harder than saying it. I still feel inferior about failing out of Tech and not giving it a second chance, but it's realistically too late to do that and it's not what I want. I'm going to graduate at the end of the summer or fall '10.
Furry: I'm mostly into furry for the art, specifically smut. I've never been to a convention, but I'd consider it if the opportunity came up. I socialize with some furries, but the issue of being furry rarely comes up.
Music: My tastes in music are pretty varied. I like folkish pop like Belle & Sebastian and Camera Obscura, Hip-Hop like Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip and MF Doom and rock like Pixies and Pink Floyd. I also like the mashup scene as well as other songs I'll just call novelty.
New Mexico: I was born in Albuquerque, lived a few months in Socorro, moved out of state then I was in Carlsbad by the time I was four. I spent my first semester of college in Soccorro and later ended up here in Las Cruces. It's a nice state and I'm glad I got to spend time here, but I can't stay here.
