Ann Arbor Folk Festival

Last weekend was the Ann Arbor Folk Festival, a fund raiser for the Ark. I spent the evening with good friends whom I don't see enough of, and good music. The "big acts" this year were Nanci Griffith, Emmylou Harris, and Glen Campbell. The MC was someone I'm sure I've heard songs by, but somehow I'd not been familiar with him: Heywood Banks

Many, many years ago one DJ on a dearly-departed DC-area classic rock station used to play a Heywood Banks song or two. Primarily "Toast" and "18 Wheels (On A Big Rig)", IIRC.
