93!

"Unto them from whose eyes the veil of life hath fallen may there be granted the accomplishment of their true Wills; whether they will absorption in the Infinite, or to be united with their chosen and preferred, or to be in contemplation, or to be at peace, or to achieve the labour and heroism of incarnation on this planet or another, or in any Star, or aught else, unto them may there be granted the accomplishment of their wills; yea, the accomplishment of their wills.
'AUMGN. 'AUMGN. 'AUMGN."

He was a true alchemist, perhaps the greatest of the 20th century, enlightening a great multitude of people. I truly believe he was a great and noble man; his contribution to Western Civilization has yet to be fully realized, and will not be until those who attempt to keep of control our minds are overthrown. Dr. Hofmann was one who understood the basic human need to explore the unknown and infinite vastness of the human soul. Although 102, I still feel sad about his passing. So, many of the old heroes are now gone... Schultes, Leary, Ginsberg, Lilley, Kesey, McKenna... so few of that courageous generation left.

In fact, I'll ask our Deacon to mention his name at the Death Collect during Mass this Saturday.

It's been a heavy death-time lately ... but this happens sometimes.

ah, the joys of the Tower

85-93, I had a shrine dedicated to Dr Hoffman. It was one of the consistent things in my constantly morphing world.

Thank you Dr Hoffman didymus_j_m April 9 2009, 16:38:34 UTC
Last year I attended a memorial service for DR. Hoffman at the COSM (Chapel of Sacred Mirrors) in New York. Alex Grey led a discussion about his art work, how it was profoundly impacted by Dr. Hoffman's gift to the world, and then held a lecture on an art piece created by Alex Grey that was dedicated to him. It was a great day.
