The TSA has recently begun allowing blades under 4 inches to be carried onto airlines. As I'm sure you already know, the blades used to hijack planes on September 11 were shorter than that

As the voice of obnoxiousness, allow me to propose an alternative plan:

Give everyone a four inch knife upon boarding.

So long as all of the honest passengers are unarmed, it only takes a few terrorists to take over the plane, whereas, if everyone is armed, the terrorists have to have a majority, much harder to pull off.

So sign my petition to arm all airline passengers! It'll make the world safer!

As much as I love the idea of an armed two-year-old aboard an aircraft, I'm not sure your idea will fly.
