so my brother just walked in the door, unexpectedly. it was kind of scary, but i was talking to holly on the phone when it happened, so somehow, i wasn't very scared. as if she were here to defend me from intruders

i am a fucking SUPERHERO.

houses alone are always freaky, although I do like being alone cause then I can SING at the top of my lungs! (remember that, future roommate) Yesterday Mary and Alex left and the cats kept knocking over things and making noises that seem much louder than cats can make. :\

. . .says the girl who will be in an empty apartment for two and a half weeks! eep!

I am thinking, though, that the move will maybe help me be more productive and correct my sleeping patterns a bit? I mean, if I have no internet, I will go to bed really early from boredom! And then I will wake up earlier to get to the university/library/coffeeshop and HAVE internets. in my brain it works.

ps: my mom said to watch cox's advertisements, 'cause our cable/internet provider at home will often have offers where installation is free. so we must be diligent! but still, cross your fingers for stolen wireless!
pps: I'm sorry I'm always like "my mom said!", she is just my information for all things living is all!

Ppps: so I don't forget! Giant roommate pet peeve: unnecessary slamming of doors, cabinets, and windows, especially when sleep might be occuring! I actually say this because of Mary and Alex's habits in the kitchen, but then I just realized you probably knew all this because of OTHER roommates. ^_^

But yes. You will be my favorite roommate if you close doors gently :)

hey man, i ALWAYS close doors gently. i'm offended that you would think otherwise!!!!! (not really though) my year at st andrews instilled within me a deep hatred for anyone who lets their door slam, or slams it purposefully. rawr.
