I wanted to "quickly" address something that has been bothering me this summer. I hear it all over the place from people I hold as my friends and loved ones. So I wanted to put a stop to it because to be honest, it's just nonsense

I'll be more controversial here.

The Democrats have, largely, turned to underhanded Republican-esque tactics in order to terrorize (Yes, terrorize. As in scare people into their way of thinking) people. The entire party has become a "If you're not with us, you're against us" group of overly-reactionary liberals. They're trying to force feed their rhetoric down the throats of people who aren't Republicans. They've often tried to use that type of coercion to scare people into thinking if they're not some kind of unsustainable, granola-loving, racist-hating, politically correct, apologist green freak then they MUST be the next thing to the devil
