Have any of you alumni attended local alum events? Is it work taking time off of work for me to make the next one? I'd be going to the Philly one

I haven't heard of alumni events in my area, except when they were doing the name change and held discussion groups to break the news! I don't think we can get on Facebook though - I think you need an active e-mail address at the school. My old wmdc.edu address expired long ago, sadly! And I remember those bumper stickers. :)

I went to a local alumni event and it was cool to see who else lived in my area but I don't know that it's worth thaking time off unless it's something really special like an exclusive museum exhibit. :)

hmmmm, how do you find alumni events in your area? is the alumni office suppose to send you something?
