Hooray for Colorado!!!! Yes, its true, I finally made it to this glorious state that belongs to my roomie. It is beautiful here (despite the lack of air) and I am having a wonderful time. Right now, I should be sleeping as I have not gotten any since being here (nor before I came) and we have lots planned before leaving tomorrow. But it's like ( Read more... )

Just a little constructive criticism on ITW.

But first...I enjoyed myself thoroughly and the talent on that stage (as well as the talent you posess) was evident.

The one thing I would have changed....more choreography. Some of the bigger numbers were boring b/c there wasnt anything to watch.

That's all I have.

Love ya!

Lorelei, I'm so glad to hear youre enjoying yourself in Colorado. Just wanted to get that out of the way...
Now in response to SincereMelodie's comment:

Into the Woods isn't a dance show. It was never a dance show. Its never going to be a dance show. Choreography isn't needed b/c they conveyed a message with singing. Have you ever seen it before? You act as if you have but you type as if you didn't. More choreography would have ruined the show. Lorelei is quite a qualified director and did so much ungodly research on what the WRITERS wanted to be put on stage. In the "conversation piece" video, there was nothing they mentioned about dancing at all...because INTO THE WOODS ISN'T A DANCE SHOW. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the performance, I'm sorry I had to miss it. I'm also sorry that you didn't get an educated response like you should have from some people.

Thank you for your comments, Adrienne. I very much appreciate them. I wish to apologize for the comments left by an anonymous person. To that person - I asked for constructive criticism on Who Turned Off The Lights? production of Into The Woods, not pure criticism on others constructive criticism. I understand both points made but one could have been more tactful. Again, Adrienne, I am so sorry.
