So I was doing some icon housekeeping, getting rid of a bunch I'm not likely to use much anymore -- like you do when you've been absent from LJ forever -- and I came across this:

Naturally. ;)

But would you say it's rare for you to switch OTPs like that? It might be the only time I've done it.

Aww, you. Thank you! ♥ And I totally know what you mean. I've kept/deleted icons for the same reason in the past. ;)

You know, that's a good question. I'm trying to remember any time I switched OTP teams within a fandom. I don't think I have, hmm. At least not that I can remember at the mo. *thinkie face*

You're the best. :x

I know, right? I even went to my profile to look at my interests, in case I'd forgotten a fandom with an OTP I hadn't thought of. But every time, it's like, "No, I pretty much stuck with so-and-so."

I went from Buffy/Angel to Angel/Cordy, but it was different since they'd left the original show. And I never hated Buffy/Angel and could still watch the old stuff and enjoy. (Of course they'd ruined Cordy by the time they put her with Angel, and it sucked. Bleh.)

But Nuke is definitely the only I've gone from loving a ship to absolutely and passionately DESPISING it. I still shudder to think of Noah Mayer. Ugh, ugh, UGH! Detest him.

Oh yeah, that must have sucked for A/C shippers. They never got to OTP status for me, but I definitely had my moments on that show where I was like, UM, THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN. But you're right, they never really followed through, and then it was too late because Cordelia was unrecognizable. :/
