It has been a very long time since I've been here. I suppose I've well and truly gotten out of the habit of LJ, and this time I actually did let my paid account payment deadline slip by me, so I have a free account for the first time in many years. It's a bit surreal to have so few icon choices, heh

The only way I remember to do anything LJ-related anymore is having people on email notification for when they post. I did a quadruple-take when your name popped up!

Wow, not only am I still on your flist, you have an *email notification* for my posts! I am flattered.

It's not that I've really replaced LJ with some other social media -- I have FB and Twitter and Tumblr accounts, but I'm almost never on those, either. So I have no excuse, really. Sometimes I consider making a full-out comeback, but in the advent of those other three places, this place has become a bit of a ghost town. :(

Not that that should stop me. I really should use this place as -- OMG -- an actual journal, regardless of whether there's much of a flist to read as well. Perhaps I will.

I did just do a double take when I saw you'd posted! Obviously we talk all the time (bless you, What's App!), and yeah, I only post about once a month on LJ now. And usually check my filter a couple times a week, but am behind over the hols.

I miss the old LJ days, although I don't know how I had the time for it! I used to live on LJ. Good times. :)
