Hmm... This isn't really my place to say Wilson, but it seems to me that that was over-stepping your boundaries a bit... But, it sounds like you did do her some good. Why do you say you regret it so much? Did something happen because of it?

And... How's she doing these days?

You're right, it was a mistake. Regardless of the benefits involved...it wasn't my place.

She died this past June.

Oh. I'm sorry to hear that, Wilson.

Not your fault though, of course. Sounds like there was nothing you could do.

All you did was take her home and get her some groceries. Nothing wrong with that, really. That's what any good neighbor would do.

Ah. No, sir. That's not all that happened. That's my point. I regret overstepping my boundaries because one form of comforting led to another. *shifts uncomfortably in his seat*
