110 years... and sometimes you look at the cinema listings and wonder whether it was worth all the effort. =:P

Haha quite so! Especially at the major commercial chains. Quite a few, although there don't seem to be many of them about any more, of the repertory/independent/art cinemas still deliver a decent offering.
