"Can we call you Dadoo?"

It's been a while since my last Simnimaniacs update. A long, long while. But here I am to rectify that gross oversight!

Today we begin our tour of the town of Warner Brothers Studios with the Hip Hippos and their friends.

It's 5am in the Hippo household. Flavio and Marita had only just turned in, no doubt having spent their night at a wild party. Meanwhile, their bird friends are busy gossiping.

And, of course, their monkey butler is busy in the kitchen, crying softly to himself as he empties out a bowl.

What's this? That's Gina Embryo! She's rooting through the Hippos' trash, and, as you can see, it's giving her great pleasure.

Gina then actually talked to the Hippos. For reasons unknown, she flirted a lot with Flavio. It was super awkward. Marita did not approve, but Gina clearly didn't care what Marita thought.

Super awkward.

Minerva Mink, meanwhile, was having a picnic on the beach. Here she is lounging in her pre-picnic state.

Mister Director decided to come talk to her, and she ended up leaving in the middle of their conversation. Poor Mister Director was left to clean up the picnic.

A sighting of the ever-elusive mayor of Warner Brothers Studios, Steven Spielberg himself! He's obviously in a great hurry.

Here's Ralph the Guard. Despite being on the Vice Squad, he appears to be wearing scrubs. Maybe they couldn't find a uniform that would fit him :c

Here's Ralph kissing his wife.

Please put your clothes back on, Mrs. Guard.

Ralph's son, being significantly more intelligent than his father, spent the day hanging out in the park reading and playing chess. Marita Hippo, of all people, decided to play chess with him. The match lasted well into the night, until Ralph Jr. got bored and left.

Hello Nurse was playing chess against herself. She's a genius, you know.

Come on, Gina. Wearing sunglasses in the middle of the night while talking to a little kid in the park makes you seem kinda sketchy. Just saying.

This is worse.

Mr. Skullhead was lost in a book.

Ralph Jr. wandered into his parents' bedroom several times during the night to bitch them out. I'm not sure why, but they obviously didn't care since they slept through it all, every time.

And here's Thadeus Plotz, demonstrating that with great wealth comes both crushing loneliness and fabulous pajamas.

I've already screencapped another Simnimaniacs encounter, but I think this post is already long enough, so I'll save it for another time.
