So, I didn't get the job. In a way I'm not surprised, it's a pretty high profile position and as much as they liked my presentation, when I thought about things I said and questions they asked, I doubt they thought I could handle the job, which I could, but not a call for me to make ( Read more... )

I'm sorry you didn't get it that sucks!!

Where is it you work now?

I feel the same about friends at the moment I have Gregg who is the only steady and reliable friend in my life just now. The othrs are there but they don't make the effort. Maybe you shoud do an evening class or something to meet people, a dance class or a cookery class something like that?!! :)

I work as an autism support worker in Catrine and Kilbirnie (horrible little towns full of...lovely people? lol). Don't get me wrong, when I took the job it was ideal for me because I could pick and choose shifts and take time off without an explanation but now I'm struggling to make the money I need and really struggling with the shifts and there's no pattern to my weeks which has a knock-on effect with my meds routines etc ( ... )
