It's not like it hasn't been that way for a while. Before Foxborough Stadium was Gillette it was Schaffer Stadium many many years ago. The name Wrigley field has been around for a long time too.

i dont see how it is a problem. companies promote the economy and when companies invest they get more money which allows for more jobs/ higher wages. im sure there is going to be some counter argument made, but think about where you would be without big business. no ford, nissan, toyota, mcdonalds, burger king, sony, bmg, gm (which means no chevy, caddies, saabs, pontaics, gmc or oldsmobiles, no onstar, basically no cigarettes or anti- smoking information, no beers, microsoft, and no movie companies... for starters. no granted a huge portion of the world lives without these luxuries. they also live without proper waste removal and running water, they live malnurished and in constant persecution or famine. So before you critize these you have to ask whether you are willing to trade these for the privlidge of living in the west, rather than the third world.

Now you are saying that big businesses are a big part of keeping third world countries in their continually worsening conditions. They do play a role, but not the primary one. Though every country's situation is different there are several factors far worse than big business ( ... )
