Glad your plans for the trip are still going well; I've bought train tickets so that I can meet you in Liverpool at the beginning of July - I'll be up there from Sunday 1st to Thursday 5th so hopefully we can get together some time on the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday? Do you like art galleries or maritime museums, BTW? Either? neither?
Sorry to hear about the pension snafu, though; if you gave them the correct information in the first place and they misinterpreted it, it sounds to me as if you have grounds for making a complaint - and at the very least being able to repay them in instalments.
Yay to meeting in Liverpool! I am going to get there early on Wed a.m. (4 July) and am going to be free-ish throughout the day. Free also in the morning of Thu 5th. Let's make plans for morning coffee and lunch on Wed 4th. Please contact me by mail any time between now and 30 June. I like art galleries, not madly keen on maritime museums, but even those will probably be fun with you. Thanks!
one of the hard things is accepting that her whole life has changed, that absolutely everything revolves around her illness, that friends and books and music must necessarily remain on various back burners
Noted for future reference. That does sound hard.
Sorry to hear about the overpayment issue - that's a lot of money to come up with.
