An SD disk has been sitting on my desk forever.  It is labeled (rarity for me) Feb 2006 back-up  Today I decided to put it in my computer to see what was on it, which is much easier on this computer than any other I've ever had (and definitely easier than my old one after I lost my only good card reader ( Read more... )

I had had a couple of problems getting to my Odyssey website the last month.  I had a lot of recipes stored there which I used when I was baking cookies.  Just last week I read a story THE BEST LAID PLANS.  Today when I decided to go there I found it was gone, replaced with a FOR SALE sign.  I guess I should have figured a free website couldn't ( Read more... )

Been a long time since I posted. Life has been going on or maybe just going. My real life persona spends a lot of time on Facebook. I have friends from all phases of my life which spans a much wider range than my friends with whom I have regular contact. 1. I am not blogging enough. So many things are happening that I cannot distill into words. I say "that's OK, they are in my memory" but I am 66 years old and not sure how much longer that memory will be there. Plus, the fact that others cannot share my memory (would they really want to?). In the beginning I really enjoyed watching House. I even purchased season one of DVD (it was during my DVD immersion stage and I hadn't seen many of the episodes).
