My cats are so very very affectionate towards me; it makes my LITTLE BLACK HEART GROW THREE SIZES every time one of them trills and then trots at me, tail STRAIGHT UP, and parks a foot away, purring like a maniac

My (fat) cat does the same thing to me :D.

She very rarely doesn't have her tail all "!" style, though sometimes she has it "?" because she's intrigued with something on or near my person.

And nothing makes her act like she's got abandonment issues more than not being allowed in the bathroom with you.... *rolls eyes*

To be fair, I think the cat thought process is something like, "HEY I SHIT IN A BOX THAT EVERYONE CAN SEE ME AT HOW COME THE HUMAN GETS A WHOLE ROOM WHERE NO ONE'S ALLOWED IN."

Just a guess.

My particular cat might also have a touch of

"Hey, you're going in the room with all the water...OOH, I like playing in the (dry) tub with some of the loufas....WHY CAN'T I COME IN AND PLAY WITH THE LOOUUFFAAASSSS?!?!?....."

That or "clearly you're going to need supervision...there's a lot of water you might get hit with in there, and you're very stupid. Let me in so I can make sure you don't drown."

I get the feeling its a mixture :P.
(And her litterbox is hidden away and nobody watches her poo - tho she might have resentment that I get a room and she still only has a box...)
