Awww, this was a cute chapter. I love the idea of John and Rodney taking a ride in the jumper - I keep picturing them being all smiley and happy, and it makes me grin. I'm eager to see how everything plays out - I wonder if events will follow cano, as in they meet the Athosians, the wraith arrive, Sumner is taken, etc. It'll be interesting to see how you play that out :)

I'm so glad Rodney has finally admitted that John is his friend. That's progress!

I'm glad you enjoyed this hon. I'm not planning to stick very strictly to canon, although some things that happened in the show will also turn up in my story. I'm not going to spoil it by telling you which.
