Artie's dad dropped him and Puck off slightly after Sam and Mike arrived. He was lucky - rather than worrying about a tent, he was sleeping in a small cabin - more wheelchair friendly. There was even room there if Kurt couldn't bring himself to sleep in a tent and wanted to crash, though Artie wasn't telling him that - not yet, anyway.

"I'll take that bet," he said, wheeling up to Mike and Sam, carrying a rucksack in his lap. "About fifteen minutes the way he's going."

Sam watched the scene with wry amusement. Kurt had no started gesticulating wildly with his hands while Blaine dumped all the tent items out on the floor at his feet. It was weird seeing Blaine dressed in casual clothing. He had been at the party, but even then, it was sort of dressy casual. Kurt seemed still done up to the nines.

"Less, I say. The tent poles are there for the taking now. I have a feeling Blaine didn't give him prior warning about the tent," he said with a smirk. "Kurt was probably picturing a five-star cabin with a jacuzzi."

Mike laughed and wondered if he should go over and help Blaine with the tent, because it seemed unlikely Kurt was going to offer his services. Still, the moment Mike let his mind go to Kurt, Blaine, and tents, they went to Brokeback Mountain, and his laughter trailed off with a curious glance at Sam, but he quickly looked away with a small clear of his throat.

"If he wants a jacuzzi, he's going to have to jump in the lake and get creative. Totally been there," he said, snickering.

"How long before he begs to shower at least in my cabin? If not sleep," Artie asked, smirking slightly. "Once he realizes I'm not sleeping in a tent. I'd better be careful opening the door that he doesn't make a run for it And remind me not to swim after you, Mike."

Kurt & Blaine (initially) singslikeagirl March 13 2011, 01:42:46 UTC
Kurt could feel that his face had increased a few notches in temperature just from the sight of Blaine holding the tent. He threw his hand out in annoyance and gave it a small wave. "You never told me anything about a tent! Cabins. Cabins were mentioned! I'm not sleeping in a tent! I don't do tents! I do cabins with beds and running water! You may as well just keep that thing damn well wrapped up, because we're not using! I'm going to get a cabin. This sucks. You suck!"

He paused and watched Blaine tipped all the contents of the tent bag out onto the grass anyway. "That's not even big enough to house an ant! What if there's a storm? And mud? Blaine. No."

"Yes," Blaine responded with a laugh as he crouched down beside all the tent pieces and peered up at Kurt. He started to sort through everything, laying it out so he would have a smooth process when he started putting it up. "Artie has a cabin because he needs one. You agree to come camping, so we're doing this with a tent. No rain is forecast, we both have sleeping bags, and I packed extra blankets if we get cold. There is a shower block with toilets, it just... on the other side of the ground. Good exercise. Fresh air for the lungs to get us through Regionals on Tuesday."

He picked up a pole piece and pointed at Kurt with it. "It'll be fun. We can have a fire, and sing. Are they Armani pants? Did you seriously wear Armani camping?" He stood up again and went over to the trunk of his car. he succinctly unzipped his bag and pull out a pair of track pants and one his favourite t-shirts. "Keep your jacket on. You'll be more comfortable. Camping is about letting it all hang out, Kurt. Roughing it."

Finding Blaine's clothes suddenly thrust into his hands Kurt looked from them to Blaine, running his tongue along the inside of his cheek in an attempt to bite back a string of bitchy comments. His hands had been forced from his defences stance at his hips to now be clamped down around the pile of clothing. "I'm not wearing these. At least not in public. There is roughing it and then there's this. They won't even fit."

He turned hishead sharply in the direction Blaine was referring to, and if he squinted, he could just make out the outline of the amenities block. "That is the only place we can pee?" he asked, biting out the words haughtily. "I can't believe I agreed to this."

Blaine shook his head in amusement, sticking his tongue out as he started to put all the poles together. "We're a similiar size, you're just a bit taller. And they're casual clothes, Kurt, it's not going to matter if they're a bit loose... and they're perfectly clean, I promise. The t-shirt is even ironed. You're looking at me like I'm asking you were a burlap sack! I wear those clothes all the time. Are you trying to say something, huh?"

He smirked deviously. "Not the only place, no," he said, with a pointed sweep of his gaze to the surrounding trees.

Kurt and anyone else! (Later in the evening) singslikeagirl March 14 2011, 10:55:54 UTC
Kurt actually avoided eating beans out of a can for dinner by stuffing himself with M&Ms and coffee while everyone else seeme dto think Baked Beans were the best delicacy to ever grace the earth. Now everyone was chilling and there was even a couple of six packs of beer on the go. Kurt had an open bottle in his hand, finger and thumb wrapped around the neck of the bottle. He hated beer, but he figured he could force himself to have one seeing as Blaine was indulging (though god only knew why after that party... no girls around to snog, maybe).

His iPod was plugged into a portable dock and whether the other guys liked it or not, he was now playing ABBA over the speakers. Mamma Mia to be exact, and standing a few paces by the fire dancing and singing along with all the classic moves. So what if it was too gay for a boys weekened. Kurt was gay... and it showed in his song choice.

Puck, Sam, Artie, and whoever else wants to join in... jewhawk March 15 2011, 14:33:15 UTC
Puck's favorite thing about boys-only camping was probably the possibility of ensuing jam sessions, so he'd brought his guitar and plopped down indian style near the camp fire. "Who's up for a jam?" he called out. "No 'Kumbaya,' though."
