Mike reached over and gave Sam a firm poke in the arm back. "I'm not ignoring you. I'm just... ruminating," he offered with a shrug, but his movement was a little restricted with how far he had zipped himself up into his sleeping bag. So, he hooked his finger into the zip and pushed it out to undo it a bit more again.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I hate freaking spiders. They're horrible, and they're hairy and they have too many legs and eyeballs, and pounce on you from great heights." He shuddered and skimmed the interior of the tent, pretty sure after his absolutely terrifying brush with spider-inflicted death (at least, that was how it felt), one was going to make it's way into the tent and eat him.

Sam snorted with a laugh. "Oh, well, in that case, don't let me interrupt you. Got enough room in the sleeping bag there?" He was pretty sure 'ruminating' didn't mean what he was referring to, but it still sounded amusing all the same.

As tempting as it was to keep pulling the piss out of Mike for his phobia, and the fact the whole event earlier had been hilarious for everyone, he didn't want to piss Mike off. Sam knew how shit-scary phobia could be when you were faced with them. "Okay, no spiders.. but seriously, you've been quiet. If you're not giving me the silent treatment, what is it?"
