Rachel entered the Lima Bean just after 3:30 and looked around for Kurt. He wasn't there just yet but Rachel had no worries, she only needed a quick talk with him. A pep talk if you will; with all the things going on

For Kurt, boredom was reigning with the Warblers. Rehearsal, and then a Blaine solo. Another rehearsal, and then another Blaine solo. P!nk was apparently on the menu for Regionals, and possibly Maroon 5 at this point. It was still undecided, with the Council thinking Blaine was awesome at all of the above. Kurt personally just wanted to get out of the uniform and into his his new Marc Jacobs silver button-up. Blaine was going to come along for coffee this afternoon, but Kurt managed to convince him that he should really put some work into decided what solo he liked better. Yes, he was being condescending, but Blaine was oblivious at that point.

He adjusted his bag over his shoulder as he waltzed into their favourite coffee shop, smiling as he spotted Rachel. He slipped into the seat across from her with a small wave of his fingers. "Hello. Fancy meeting you here."

Rachel smiled up at Kurt as he sat down and crossed her arms in front of her. "How are things going over there?" she asked. She had heard only bits and pieces of what Dalton was like, but nothing really to give her an idea. "Do you think you guys are ready for tomorrow?"

Kurt gave a small shrug. "Oh, you know. The Council is driving us ino the ground, we have a few songs on the go, but they seem to keep changing their minds about song choices, which doesn't really matter, because Blaine sings them all, so we could literally do anything at the drop of a hat. We're ready, though. We're always ready. That's the Warblers game, performing at the drop of a hat."

"We finally came up with songs. With some thanks to Miss Sylvester I guess." Rachel shrugged. "I'm not ready for tomorrow though. I keep thinking I am but I'm not." Rachel tucked her hair behind her ears and laughed "I wrote a song about being an only child, it was better than 'my headband'."
