Mike had been really nice in trying to comfort her, she was glad they were still friends after everything. But he had his own performance to give and Tina wasn't about to make him stay to comfort her. But she did need some comfort, and the only place she could think of where she might find it would be the choir room. Tina sat at the bench, fiddling with keys a little bit before fighting off the urge to cry again. It subsided, but she avoided pressing the keys, just letting her fingers drift over the ivory pieces.

She heard that familiar rolling and slowly looked up. "...Hey. What're you doing here?"

"Looking for you," Artie said, wheeling up to her, making sure he was placed opposite her. "I figured you'd run off here, thought you might like some company." He was deliberately keeping it very light, friendly between them.

You sure you didn't just follow the trail of tears leading to the door? She thought bitterly, more so at herself than anyone else. Tina smiled weakly at him, knowing his intentions were good. "That's cool of you. You sure, though? I mean, you're performing at some point..."

"Britt said she'd send me a text before I was due to go on. Well, Santana will," Artie said, shrugging. He and Brittany had actually become good friends after all the pretending, and she'd been his first choice - well, almost - when they needed another body for the Brainiacs team. "It's fine. I'm not on for a good twenty minutes at least."
