Tina closed her locker, grumbling to herself about how she looked. Her mother was making her wear these ridiculous dresses to school. Some of them were kinda cute, she couldn't deny that, but it wasn't what she was used to. She felt like a Rachel Berry knockoff rather than a Tina Cohen-Chang original.

"Ugh, watch it," she muttered under her breath after one of the goons from the hockey team rudely bumped her shoulder. She'd been halfway to the lunchroom when she realized she'd forgotten something important. "Money would help, wouldn't it..." Man between all the building pressure in Glee club and making this year great, Tina felt like she was losing her mind.

She passed by the auditorium walkway this time as she hurried to her locker, pausing at the familiar face. "Hey, Blaine! Whatcha doing?"

Blaine had himself pressed up against the railing so he wouldn't be trampled in the passing stampede to get to lunch and was now hugging his books for his next class to his chest. He blinked in surprise when he heard his name, head whipping around to see who it was in the crowd and he finally laid his gaze on Tina. "Oh, hey!" he responded with a smile that was just a tiny bit shaky compared to what it had been when Mr Schue introduced him in Glee.

"Just, um... uh... trying not to get squashed," he admitted with a laugh. "And getting some fresh air. It's a little claustrophobic in there today. You haven't seen Kurt around, have you?"

Squeezing by some of the other members of the crowd (ew good god Brett, go take a shower), Tina made her way over to Blaine. Lunchtime was the closest thing to free time at school, so she figured she could spend a little of it on conversation.

"Story of my life," she replied with a small, knowing smile. "And no, I haven't. Not since this morning at least. Why, something up?"

Blaine shook his head, and it was mostly true. "No, not really. He's busy and all tied up with his campaign and planning his audition, I don't want to go all clingy pain in the ass on him. He said he would try to meet me for lunch if he could..."

He scrunched his nose up slightly and watched a posse of Cheerios pass by. "Truth is, I'm feeling a little out of my depth today. Dalton is a lot more placid than this and I think the enormity of what I've done is setting in," he admitted. "New Kid Syndrome, maybe?"
