I just read (at the Huffington page) that Gov. Palin is "open" to the idea of teaching creationism in public schools. Add this one to her stand on abortion (never, no way and out of the question, she says) I am simply appalled that any woman in America would even consider voting for a ticket that includes her name.

As for creationism - or should we call it "Intelligent Design" ::sarcasm:: - I think one of the problems with Evolution is the scientific terminology which is simply not understood. I've had this argument with my husband, a reasonably intelligent man, who claims that as it's a "Theory of Evolution" it's not proven ::screams loudly::

So, darling, I can't possibly explain how any thinking person of either gender would want her a heartbeat away from the presidency, but I said that about Dan Quayle, and Cheney, too.

This old age thing really sucks, doesn't it?
Troopergate is pretty frightening when you realize she might end up as president (I don't hold out much hope for McCain's longevity)and have that kind of power at her fingertips. I'm just so frustrated because no matter what information comes out about her, the media and the republicans just love her more and more.
