So I came to a realization last night as I was alone, on the road, with just my thoughts. I looked at the date, time, and realized that my summer must be half over. I guess that this past weekend was the official halfway point of summer, and now I'm pushing through to the end. But it made me think, when I got home and saw certain away messages,

Life isn't fun I've found. It has it's good parts, it's bad parts, and then it's work everywhere inbetween.

It'd be nice to be a kid again, but we are the only ones who will look out for ourselves.

Why do you keep saying you're sorry? So things haven't been perfect, but then again, when are things ever? We tried dating, and it didn't entirely work, but someday it might. In the meantime, we're trying to figure out how friends could work. You haven't caused shit, you have nothing to be sorry about. As short as things were, it wasn't a bad thing. So stop apologizing for everything and just try to move forward as friends.
