I had a fantastic weekend talking to friends in Nashville! Of the ~370-mile round trip it could have been, I managed a good 500+. It was so awesome getting to see Meredith (who's normally in Auburn) and then drive around to find Erika and have an awesome afternoon with her!
I'd write more about it, but I'm really a bit too happy to do so!!!! I want to call and talk to some of them, but I don't want to seem... uh... needy? I don't know what the word is. Probably "stupid". As in, that's a stupid thing to think. But, it's not stupid to think of others, so it'll be good. ^__^
I thought of a great game. It's like tag, but better. If you're "It" you have to randomly "tag" friends by telling them you love them! The good news is, you don't stop being it, and there's no limit to the number of people (or times) you can do this! Yes, I earnestly thought this up. To prove my friend's accuracy in calling me a cheeseball: I told my friends when I went out to eat January 29th (you can ask them if you want) that I didn't want presents for my birthday, 'cause having friends there meant their presence were my presents. Fast forward to when I got a handful of those "Dove" dark chocolates. You know, the ones that have cutesy sayings on the inside. "Your presence is of the best of presents." Think what you will, but I'm incredibly proud to have whatever source it is that lets me think up these things! (granted, I'm not original in that it's the year 2012 and millions of people have already lived. but, since I thought it up, it counts -affirming nod- )
What can I do to help share the joy I have? Please let me know if I can do anything for you, okay?
