when the war in iraq first started two years ago, i resolved to change my citizenship because i was so disgusted with the US. being from detroit, it would have taken me about 2 hours to cross the border, change my citizenship in windsor and come back home. my parents confiscated my passport and birth certificate because they knew i was serious. i guess it wasn't very imaginative, but it would have been very easy....

ps. marryanamerican.ca - according to the bbc, on november 3 the number of visits to the immigration website of the canadian government more than doubled it's previous record - with an average of 20,000 visits daily, on november 3 it hit 115,016.
