Laure is a foriegn exchange student from Paris, and we met the night she flew into Austin, TX where she lives now. I moved from Austin five days after she arrived, and since then we've been in a long distance relationship, from Austin to New York. In eight days I will go surfing with her in MD, and then on the 31st I will fly overseas to be with her, since her visa expires in June (so she has to leave the united states). So I guess you could say that I'm going over there to be with her, but I also hve always wanted to study abroad and this is a good oppurtunity, since my girlfriend will see me every weekend. I am an American and she is French. She's abroad now, and I will be abroad next year. Then next summershe will either come back to the states with me, or I will go back to France with her. So yeah we're travelling overseas to be with each other, I guess you could say.

well thats really sweet. i was an exchange student as well...and amy and I started dating and then she came over here to germany to live with me for 6 months. now i am going over there to live with her...nice to see that same shit happens to others too and we aint the only ones with the exchange student-american dating situation :-)
