My experience at David's Bridal tonight gave me a great idea. TLC should add a new show to its Friday night "girls night in" line up: "i'm Only Saying Yes to Keep the Bride Happy," a show that describes the indignity and the torrents of being a bridesmaid.

I decided my bride's maids were wearing any dress they wanted in a color vaguely light blue. I can't understand why people would want everyone they love in a dress that will only look good on some of them (if that...). I just don't get it!
I would also add that I tried on bridal dresses at David's and accompanied a friend to try on bride's maids dresses, and I also tried dresses on at boutiques that had worse service than David's. Maybe the David's in Albuquerque is just more awesome... still. bah. not a fan!
