With a New Year approaching and my LJ being on the quiet side I thought I would do a friending post.

I'll go first. Always a bit odd writing these things but here we go.

My journal is pretty much my warts and all place. I've been on LJ for about 9 years. I consider myself to be a supportive and open minded friend both here and in real life. I read my journal most days on my phone and I post often.

I'm 35 and I am married. I have been married 7 months to my partner of over 8 years. We have a 16 month old daughter and a retired racing greyhound. I write about my family a lot. I am a youth worker working with people with disabilities and learning difficulties.

I am left wing and liberal.

I love animals. I love music and my tastes are wide and varied.

Pretty sure that is the worst piece of writing ever written to sell oneself but that's kind of the facts.

I'm M, I'm 3(cough)7 and I live in London with my partner, my 15 year old son and our 3 cats. I'm a Nurse in a specialist mental health service for people with learning disabilities, and I'm in the middle of an MSc in Mental Health.

Hello all!

I have been on LJ for about ten years now (or something like that). My aim is to be more active although I do read everything.

I'm 38 (eek!) and have a gorgeous 18 month old son who means the world to me, three furbabies and a fella. We have been engaged for two years now and are in no rush to walk up the aisle.

I am a teacher by trade and I crochet in my spare time. The club that I belong to like to yarn bomb and we have just started to take part in craft fairs.

Music wise ... Well, I went to uni in the 90s which explains it all really. I like Doctor Who (a lot) and the usual that someone my age would who has never really grown up :)

Tina you'll probably find your lj is set to always put public posts to a minimum of friends only and have to change that first.
