Couldn't have agreed any more with you, girl. You took the words right out of my mouth. I haven't been able to watch last week's episode and won't watch this week's since I haven't, but I got some tidbits of what happened. It just makes me really sad...I'm fighting crying at the office because of this. I really hate that Shonda is doing all of this to Addison, as if she hasn't had enough already. Ugh...She deserves to be happy and find love, without having to go through some form of infidelity.

AMEN TO EVERYTHING YOU WROTE! Seriously, I don't recognize my old Seattle Addie anymore. LA Addison is so different it scares me. I want her to be happy, I want her to find a decent guy, Noah seems decent but hello, I thought she would never go there again. Once a cheater, always a cheater. Turns out Mark is the good guy and Addie is the bad guy. And to be honest, I don't know if what we're witnessing now IS the real Addison, affected by her childhood so that cheating is in her blood, or it's just a monster Shonda created because she was bored.

Ah... Addison is an enigma sometimes. Especially now.

I miss so much the bitchyandawesome Seattle Addison too. Now is interesting to know something about her past and her personality without be related to Derek and all that mess. But is this the woman everybody loves in Grey's, so awesome that they give her a spinoff? At this point, I don't think so. Nobody believed she'd turn into a super cheater.
And, yes, Shonda is always raping her characters.
But I'm not like her. I'm FAITHFUL to Addison xD

Exactly!!!!! I actually find it demeaning to Addison that the writers think she would fall for this again. It's just not cool. I think she has learned from her past mistakes and this just makes her look weak. Like she hasn't learned from her mistakes and grown as a person. And to have it be the spouse of one of her patients is sooo much worse. I realize they are trying to create drama, but's a total disservice to the character of Addie. Just because a guy says sweet things and is cute, doesn't mean a girl is going to fall for it. I actually find it rather disrespectful the way he's pushed and pushed. I want to like him, but on the other hand I'm like back off! If you aren't happy get a divorce and go from there. But don't screw around on your pregnant wife. He's the kind of guy I would expect to cheat again and again. Shonda had better get it together and stop ruining such a great character.
