That thing could cook more than bread, that's a gar-en-tee!!

Once again, i find myself reading your struggle with the loss of your fiancee and i get a nauseating tug in my soul. You're the only other person besides e-rock I know that would understand just how hard this shit really is.. and yet somehow here we are in better times for both parties involved. My fiancee has a much better job than before doing what she loves and everything seems to be going well. I'm content about that but recently she asked how i was going to retrieve the ring since she lives on the other side of the planet... talk about tough pill to swallow. I don't know if it has any significance to her anymore and i would rather not know but i still wonder from time to time if she knows what it meant to me, the whole process of finally taking the leap, sacrificing my own desires and plans for the greater good of the relationship, only to have it end in passive aggression and abysmal non-communicative failure.

Yeah man, it's tough business. And though it's not always easy to see it that way, we are both doing much better for ourselves than we were a year ago.

There's still a lot of dust left to settle, but I'm starting to get a better view of the way things lay. And the more time that passes the better I get at managing the remaining pain and frustration.
