I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. Good news that you got through the tour, though, and that your friend got something to look at!

Here's a link to some Facebook photos of the tour, taken by the local ABC person along on it.

Thanks, but I don't have Facebook and don't think it would be a good thing for me.

That's a public photo album, you don't need to be logged in or have a registered account to view it. It's probably because the ABC want as many people as possible to just be able to drop in & look at the pictures.

There are ways to make pictures more private, viewable only by the poster, their friends, assorted connections, etc. You'd need to be identified to see them - there's similar layers in Flickr. That may be what you're thinking of.

LJ behaving iffy. Or maybe it's me. Posting too early. Thanks for your good wishes.

I said before that it was a bit of a facer back in 2007 during the run-up to the Federal election to have both possible future Prime Ministers celebrate their 50th birthdays. Meaning I was older than them. This attrition of the older generation, meaning it's you who gets to be Wise Old Elder, giving wisdom & guidance, taking responsibility, being strong, can be bloody-hell scary.
