While talking about dating in this topic, we managed to get off track and began discussing plans for Valentine's day. For those of you too lazy to click on a link, I'll summarize

1. i can make dip
2. i own when harry met sally on vhs, which means we'd have to watch it someplace that has a working and reliable vcr (aka not my apartment)
3. i vote for monday night, around 8. if people are busy at that time, they can always drop by later for food (aka gordon)

I do so love the emo kitty. And I know Gordon loves this one.

I happen to have a VCR, and last time I used it (which was a long time ago) it worked reliably. I'm not completely sure that Chad's sound system will work with it though, so we'll have to test that. If it doesn't, we can either watch it here with sub-par sound, which I personally don't mind, or I can lug the VCR to someone else's apartment, which I also don't mind. Assuming the sound works, I have no problems using our apartment. We have ample seating, and I suppose I can clean up and make it somewhat suitable for company.
8:00 Monday is fine by me, too. What time does Gordon's lab thingie get over with? If it's not too much later we can wait on him before starting the festivities, or at least before starting the movie.

I love Valentines Day! But maybe that's just because I love to send my sisters and parents Valentine cards and get them fun little presents. It's almost better when you're single, because you can celebrate it with any friends you want to.

true. i should have said what i meant. it's moreso that when you're unsingle there's kindof an understood hanging out with your significant other. even if you can hang out with anybody you want also. make sense at all?

I'm unsure if the reading masses know what this "KRULL" That mikes speaks off. Let me elabrate. KRULL in its essense and in a word is: awesome. Other movies have hard time coming close sheer mangitude of awesome this movies extrudes. You have and evil bad guy thats in a fortess that moves around every night, you have a damesel in distress (typical D.I.D), you have the sweet hereo that operates this ninja type weapon, you have a cyclops and a spider lady! This movie is a Must SEE!. Dont' believe mikes lies!

That's no excuse. I have an 8 AM lab on Tuesday, and I'll probably be all hung over. You can come in after work, watch the movie and hang out for a few hours, be back home and able to go to bed by midnight or earlier if you wanted. C'mon, you know you wanna!

I heard on radio that Walmarts in Germany tried to have the normal greeters in their store. Customers complained that they were being accosted by strangers. So what did they do instead? SINGLES NIGHTS AT WALMART. Customers roam the aises looking for love amoung the potatoes. The radio said that the customers used their prefereces of cereal brand as a social lubricant.
