Excuse me for seeming ignorant ... southsydesue March 11 2006, 05:34:09 UTC
... but do you have access to a more Westernized hospital or a women's clinic? I need to see a doctor myself for the same reasons, yes, but from what I know/have heard, it's definitely NOT something to mess around with. You should get tests done, a vaginal exam, blablabla. :"\

I did go to a gynecologist once, but they just gave me a vaccine and that was it.
But then again, this is Asia, and a single woman going to a gynecologist is generally frowned upon.

Wow! That's crazy! I think I'll have to pass on the Oriental medicine the next time I'm sick.

I don't know. I hear all these 'miracles' about cancer patients being cured by Oriental Medicine....but miracles aren't really trustworthy~so..

Hmmm... Probably, they are so experienced that 20 minutes is enough for them :)

I am sorry to hear that you have the problems with your health. My friend has cramps too, but all doctors she has visited just prescribed to take some pills when she has a pain...

damn...
but you're right...
I find my opinions of doctors side with yours...
now I know the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence..
but I have seen many doctors (like yourself) that neither knew or cared about whether or not their treatments and medicine worked...
all they wanted to know is if my bill had been paid...
*sigh*
and we trust them with our lives...
truly sad...

I totally agree!
All they want to do is take pictures and run you through different machines so they can earn more money!!
Ofcourse, there are some kind doctors who work to save people's lives.
I just haven't met any yet.

Geeze. Why don't you just go to the circus and buy some of that snake oil that the fat guy in the suit claims will cure anything next time?
