7) I really don't picture it, at all. They preach a lot about the absolute intolerance for groupies in MCR and seem to have a level respect for women.

A-fucking-men to No. 24.

No. 32....Aw man, ridiculous. People like that annoy me. It's not the end of the world for people to express their liking of a band in different ways than you. I have a friend just like that, she's all pissed off because a mutual friend introduced me to MCR. NOw she's all "woe, you don't appriciate them" when I appriciate them a HELL of a lot more than she ever has.

I would have bought those. Actually, now I'm gonna make some. Take that.

Okay, obviously you missed my explanation a few comments above yours. And IT'S NOT EVEN ABOUT THE SHOES. Good lord people, I was just using them in the picture. I just think it's ridiculous to see these little fangirls running around in MCR shoes and shirts that say "GERARD, I LOVE YOU! MARRY MEEEEEE!!". The shoes aren't even what it's all about. If you really appreciate the band then that's great, but I wasn't talking about people like that. I meant that the people who like them for the wrong reasons (not talking about the shoes) are getting tiring.

Okay, I still don't know if I'm making sense. It makes sense in my head though...

I think I get what you mean, but I could be wrong. Do you mean like all the hype and materialistic essence some fans have, rather than an actual bond with the music?

Yep, that's basically it. Like, them just liking the band because they think it's the 'cool' thing to do. And going crazy with that and putting them on their shoes and every other surface they can reach, rather than actually LISTENING to the music and finding some meaning in it.
