16. Well in the studio he's stading still and on stage he's moving around and out of breath. I'm sure if you were to dance around like a maniac you would sound worse than you wood if you were standing still. He can't be perfect, there is no such thing.
17. Just because she's nice around big crowds, doesnt stop the drama her relationship cause's. I dont judge her or anyone...I'm just annoyed with her and Mikey.
I hate to disagree on number 16 because I'm a huge fan of My Chem... but even when he does live TV performances and he isn't moving around that much, the quality of his voice suffers dramatically. I don't think #16 is saying that he/she expects the band to be perfect live, but Gerard's voice does seem very strained and weak compared to other live band's performances i.e. the used, franz ferdinand, thursday, etc. Smoking is probably a factor in some way.
Personally, I actually prefer MCR's live sound. It isn't so overpolished, and it's real.
I'm not saying it's a good thing that Gerard smokes, in addition to all of the horrible side effects, in the long run it will really take a toll on his voice. He strains himself so much doing long tours and playing long sets, that if he doesn't stop smoking, a few years down the road his voice is going to face huge problems.
Yeah but there is still the factor of him moving and not moving. It does make a difference. Although he should lay off the smoking and drinking. Each death stick takes off 5 minutes of his life.
I have to say, for the most part, most of the members of the MCRmy are really nice, kickass people.....so if you want to join, you should. I guarantee you'll be welcome with open arms.
I sort of agree with you. Although it's sort of a depends situation. Because he sounds really good singing Disenchanted/Shut Up and Play/Never Told You and other stuff. It would be a lot better if he'd stop smoking though. And not just because it makes his voice sound nicer, it's just that it's really not healthy for him.
