Ooh, I've read "12 Days of Xmas" and "Failsafes." Not sure if I was a good comment-er or not, but I have big love for those stories. Nice to meet you!

My very first fic was a Voltron fic, but it was unfinished and had the worst Mary Sue ever so I must have just blocked it from my mind. That doesn't count, does it?

I think the first story I ever published to the internet was a Spuffy fic in which Spike and Buffy have a Mary Sue daughter-half-Slayer, half-vampire, all suckage. THESE STORIES OFFICIALLY DO NOT COUNT I PROCLAIM IT SO KTHXBYE.

Anyway, since we both have that out of our systems-very glad to have you! =)

It must be all part of the rite of passage into fandom.

Step 1 - Stumble across fanfic while searching for info on your show.
Step 2 - Read your favorite fluffy pairing.
Step 3 - Read your favorite fluffy pairing smut.
Step 4 - Write your favorite fluffy pairing having at least 1 Mary Sue with bright red hair or violet eyes (or both).
Step 5 - Stumble across slash by accident.
Step 6 - Write epic kinky bondage incest slash that results in mpreg.
Step 7 - Retire from fandom because really, what more is there after that.

Kinda comes full circle, doesn't it? *g*

So what happens, if, by chance, you happen to start off in the Anita Blake fandom, where *canon characters* have both bright red hair and violet eyes (stupid Nathaniel!)? What do you do???

Kinda makes me happy I started off in Xena, for some reason, with femmeslash. At least there was room for being more Mary Sue than canon.

Anyway, nice to meet you. :)

"How did you do that--that thing you do?" gasped the warrior princess. Sigma Mu shook her crimson tresses and winked her long-lashed auburn [is auburn purple? maybe I am thinking of mauve? CHECK THIS LATER.] eyes mysteriously. "I have many skills."

I second the diversity comment; the one thing that consistently impresses me about SGA fandom is the sheer, wonderful variety of things it offers. Pleased to "meet" you :)

Pleased to meet you too!

I'm constantly amazed at the volume and depth of the SGA fandom. If I'm feeling like a romantic story, I can find one. If I want kink, I can find that too. I don't even think there are really any unpopular ships here because even an SGA unpopular ship is more popular than some other fandoms popular ship. (Say that 3x fast ;) )

Here from visiting the main McShep_Match comm where links were posted for the first week of interviews. I had to comment because I think you are the third person in SGA who knows about Voltron and Keith/Allura. As an SGA and Voltron fan this makes me happy.

(Though I personally have a theory that Rodney is more like Allura and Elizabeth is Coran. John is definitely Keith. In fact I've worked out a whole Voltron/SGA fusion in my head.)

I haven't chosen sides in the match, but I will be giving you an extra cheer.

There really needs to be more Voltron fic in the world, I think. Or maybe a Voltron SGA crossover...gah...that would let me die happy I think. :)

Yay for angst!
