I completely agree; it's the emotional obstacles that make the final, happy (or happy-ish ;) resolution that much sweeter. We are SO LUCKY to have such great characters to play with in the SGA-verse. And, yes, I *do* mean John and Rodney, though I really like all the SGA-regulars.
