Neat after-Atlantis story! Depressingly like might actually happen. I really liked Radek, and how Atlantis let him off easy because she recognized him.

And now I really want to know what was in that room!

What a sad glimpse of what could be: Atlantis stuck on Earth, the corridors empty of the people who lived on her. Ronon and Teyla alone in the Pegasus Galaxy. I love that Atlantis recognized Radek, and I love Rodney whump, so the bee sting section was fantastic. John crying! Oh, my heart. Rodney must have been in such a bad way - I can just imagine John walking into Rodney's room to find him unconscious on the floor, swollen and not breathing. I'm glad John saved him, that he had the courage to make the first move ♥

It is ironic that, even after the repeal of DADT, it takes this bee-sting twist of fate for John to reveal his feelings to Rodney. I wonder if John has been getting up to as much "mischief" in San Francisco as Rodney obsessively thinks he has. That obsession, along with the depiction of Katie Brown's more realistic friendship now with McKay (along with the emotional stamina she's developed as a result of dealing with him) and the Atlantis contingent's having to deal with by-the-book military guards and regulations, taken with the plot element of John's sailing--all work to develop this story into a satisfying whole.

really enjoyed this one a lot. lol'd so hard at John-the-Sailing-Manwhore, oh my gawd, hee hee!! And poor Rodney, sooo jealous and not even letting himself realize that it is jealousy, so he comes up with all sorts of other bullshit to justify his disapproval. So very true, so *Rodney*!! and the narrow escape -- brrr! lemme tell ya, I take me some extra epipens whenever I'm out fishing or camping, that shit is not fun. Brrr!! good on John not waiting around, getting him medevaced the only way he has. Right on!! it's all about teh Team, we don't leave people behind!

I could just *see* this whole story on the Brain-O-Vision. Very nice!
