I've been too busy but now I can dive right in to everything without being worried that I'll miss anything.

It's so sad that there won't be another one, but it seems like everybody pulled together to go out at the top, as it were. Has there been any thought towards making some kind of as-complete-as-possible Multi-Year McShep Match Masterlist?

Er, that is to say, if there has been some thought towards such a thing I would be interested in volunteering my time to such a project. (I've barely had my tea today, I just realized that the above comment totally read like "hey can you awesome mods do lots and lots of hard work for little to no payoff? kthxbai!" which is not what I meant at all!)

I'd love to see collections for the Match on AO3: I know a lot of fic has been reposted there, and particularly with the longer fic (not on LiveJournal) it's good to have permanent links.

What kind of masterlist were you thinking of? (by Match, by Team, by Author, by Title?).

I was just thinking that a lot of things created for the Match have been reposted with editing and tweaks by their authors in other places, and there's also additional material like the drabble contests and icons and whatever other mini challenges have occurred. As a maker of fanworks I'm always concerned about my stuff being presented in the way that I would like to call "final" and older versions being downplayed, and as an enjoyer of fanworks I'm always concerned about being able to find everything that's available and also get at the "best" or "final" versions first, instead of reading 10K of something in LJ-comment form only to find it's been beta'd and illustrated and reposted on AO3, or whatever

Thank you guys so much for all your hard work and all the joy the McShep_Match has brought us through the years! This fandom and community has changed my life for the better in so many ways that it still feels like a wrench to see the Match come to its conclusion, but all things must end in their time, I know.

Still, it's been a great ride!
