OMG! Wall-E as Rodney and Eva as John? (or vice versa). I thought the same thing when I finally sat down and watched it! LOL. Every time Eva yelled at Wall-E, I could so clearly picture John's exasperation with rodney. LOL! Yay!

When Eva started flying around I immediately thought of John. The fact that she's good with guns too just makes it make even more sense *g*

And then she was so responsible and told Wall-E/Rodney to stay behind. So very cute :)

The watching movies and placing my OTPs in them has gotten much worse since I added John and Rodney in addition to Clark/Lex. John and Rodney fit so many more! :-D

It's amazing how well they fit to just about anything. They have so many layers: co-workers, friends, lovers, action, adventure, having fun, hanging out, killing, laughing, science...

No, I don't think it's unusual. Much more John/Rodney goodness in English to choose from :)

>>I don't even know for sure if they still address each other with the formal "Sie" by the end of the series or have switched to "Du" at some point.<<

You wish. *sigh* No, of course, they haven't. Last Wednesday RTL 2 started to air S5 and after four years and Rodney *finally* arriving at "John" at the beginning of S4, the dubbing is still using the formal "Sie" in S5. *headdesk*

Yes, I almost thought so. It's always so strange and awkward. I get that it's difficult to decide when to make a switch and I guess I could maybe imagine John going "Sie machen mich wahnsinnig, McKay," and then pressing him into a wall and kissing him. Though just imagining it is so very strange. I just can't imagine John speaking German, I guess ;)

>>"Sie machen mich wahnsinnig, McKay," and then pressing him into a wall and kissing him.

That seems strangely fitting. *G*

It's difficult, yes. *G* All the more since his "German voice" has a completely other quality than JoeF's natural one and therefore original-Sheppard. Sometimes he sounds way too "macho" compared with the original and there's of course no "drawl". *G*
