How long have you been creating fan art or writing fan fiction? A long time it seems like, but really it’s only been since 2002. I started writing in SG-1 because I ran out of things to read. Now I have to tear myself away from my reading list in order to find time to write!
What drew you into fandom in the first place? The amazing people I met, and they all had the same obsession interests that I had!
Best thing about SGA fandom: go! There are just so many amazing things about the SGA fandom. The people I’ve met are all just awesome. The fic is awesome and you can find everything from serious, angsty fic to the best crack fic anywhere! Have you seen the art that people create? And, oh, yeah, the pretty, pretty boys.
Are you a fandom monogamist or do you participate in other fandoms? Which ones? I’m pretty much a fandom monogamist. I like lots of different shows, but I only get obsessed with one at a time. My first love was SG-1. I had a brief fling with NCIS and then I found Atlantis and we’ve been together ever since.
Best thing about McKay/Sheppard: go! The pretty, pretty boys! Also the snark, I love the way they can just snipe at each other, but at the end of the days they’re still best friends.
Why did you decide to participate in McShep Match? I love being part of the match, talking about writing, getting to meet the other writers and artists.
And how did you choose Team Work/Play? I really, really liked what danceswithgary had to say about play. Much of what I write is more geared toward work and I thought it would be a challenge to write for team play.
Best thing about your contribution to this year's Match: go! John and Rodney playing! The rest is top secret so I can’t share. *sits on hands*
